1. How Cricket Masters Works

• Cricket Masters connects parents, coaches, and academy administrators within youth cricket academies.
• Users belong to one or more academies. Your data is scoped to the academies you join.
• Roles include: Parents/Guardians (manage their children's profiles), Coaches (manage sessions, attendance), and Academy Admins (manage the organization).
• Access is role-based — coaches and admins only see information relevant to their academy and role.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name and email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Role within each academy

Child Profiles (with parental consent)

• Child's name and age
• Skill level and academy assignments
• Attendance records
• Emergency contact information (name and phone number)
• Medical notes and flags (entered by coaches or administrators)

Academy & Activity Data

• Schedules, sessions, and events
• Attendance history
• Messages sent through the platform (visible to relevant academy members based on role)
• Photos and documents uploaded to your academy library

Technical Information

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Device identifiers for push notifications
• Phone number for SMS notifications (when enabled by your academy)
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics
• IP address (used for security, not precise location tracking)

What We Do NOT Collect

• Precise GPS location
• Advertising identifiers
• Data from unrelated third-party apps

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Cricket Masters platform
• Send notifications about schedules, events, and important updates
• Enable communication between parents, coaches, and academy staff
• Improve app performance and fix issues
• Ensure security and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

Within Your Academy

• Coaches see player names, attendance, and parent contact info for their teams
• Academy admins have oversight of their organization's data
• Data is NOT shared across academies you are not a member of

Service Providers

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Email delivery provider (transactional emails only)
• Push notification services (Apple APNs, Google FCM)
• We do not use third-party analytics that track you across apps
• We do not share your data with any artificial intelligence or machine learning services

What We Will NEVER Do

• Sell your personal information to anyone
• Share data with advertising networks
• Display targeted ads to children or adults
• Share your data with data brokers

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

• Cricket Masters is designed for use by parents managing their children's sports activities.
• Children do not create their own accounts. Only parents/guardians create and manage child profiles.
• We collect only information necessary for academy management (name, age, attendance).
• Parental consent is required before any child profile is created.
• Parents can review and update their child's information at any time. To revoke consent, contact us at the email below.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent.
• To revoke consent for a child's data or report a concern, email us at support@cricketmasters.app with “Child Privacy” in the subject line.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Access controls enforce role-based permissions within each academy
• Internal access follows least-privilege principles
• We monitor systems for reliability and security issues and review protections periodically

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• When you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days
• Some data may be retained longer in secure backups or for legal compliance
• To delete your account, go to Settings → Delete Account in the app, or visit our Account Deletion page
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

8. Your Rights & Controls

You can:

• Access and review your personal data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Revoke consent for child data collection
• Request a copy of your data by emailing support@cricketmasters.app
• Opt out of non-essential emails

• Update profile: Settings → Profile
• Manage child profiles: Child Profile → Edit
• Delete account: Settings → Delete Account or online

9. Communications

• We send transactional emails (invites, confirmations, security alerts)
• We may send product updates about Cricket Masters
• We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in
• You can manage notification preferences in the app
